Method where 1 lash extension is applied to 1 natural lash. Designed to give a natural look and comfortable feeling with length and curl.
With the traditional lash extension, we can only safely attach one extension to each of your single natural lashes. We can only lash on the natural lashes you have. This can be disappointing if you do not have a lot of natural lashes yet desire a thicker look. Volume lashes represent an exciting new trend – the lightest lashes in the market. Therefore, multiple lashes do not weigh down the natural lash or damage the follicle. Volume lash is an advanced technique of applying for multiple extensions from 2D to 8D (8 lashes per one natural lash) and they do not appear clumpy at the base or look like cluster lashes. Volume lashes give the client a fluffier and fuller look. Eyelash extension is about adding length, volume, and creating a style that NO mere mascara or strip lash can deliver. Applied with proper skill and cared for appropriately, they outlast and outperform ANY makeup technique by weeks… even longer!
How long do the results last: Eyelash extensions can last from 6-7 weeks, depending on the growth cycle of your natural lashes. To maintain the look, appointments are necessary every 2-4 weeks to replace the lashes that have shed or grown out.
If you have an or hay fever, it’s impractical for the lashes to be applied as they will lose more quickly as the eyes become irritated and watery.
Extension adhesive has an odor, so people with asthma, allergies, sensitivity or who have previously suffered from an adverse reaction to other eye treatment should be advised not to have this treatment.
What is PhiScalp Micropigmentation?
The word "PhiScalp" comes from the combination of the word “scalp” and “phi” referencing the infamous beauty industry, the Phi Academy. PhiScalp is only one of the techniques offered by PHI, there are plenty of other permanent beauty methods that are perfected by its founder, Branko Babic. PhiScalp is the technique that combines the art and dedication of simulating hair follicles by micropigmentation.
In order to give you a better understanding of what micropigmentation means, I’ll be sharing the following article written by Nouveau Contour:
“Permanent makeup (PMU) or micropigmentation is the revolutionary method of depositing hypoallergenic mineral pigments into the dermal layer of the skin. With an ultra-thin needle and pigment, the shape of the eyebrows, eyes or lips is enhanced.
This treatment is also known as permanent makeup or cosmetic tattooing. However, the pigments used for permanent makeup are introduced less deeply into the skin layer and have a different composition from tattoo inks. Micropigmentation devices are also more refined than tattoo machines, and the techniques that are used are different.
Critical information for clients:
If you are considering having the scalp micropigmentation procedure (SMP) done, you may be wondering what to expect after your first or second session. Clients usually complete their treatments in their initial two/ three sessions, but for more accurate pricing and the amount of treatments required, it is best that you meet your Artist in person for a consultation prior to scheduling your PhiScalp appointment.
Another important thing to note, the ink under your skin is not going to affect the roots of your hair. Your existing hair follicles are in the lower epidermis layer of your scalp, but in spite of this, the origins of your hair strands are not going to be damaged during this procedure. In fact, the PhiScalp technique is demonstrated with needles that are perfected by the Phi Academy.
What to expect during a Scalp Micropigmentation Consult?
By now you must have done your research on Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) and have looked at plenty of videos, images, articles and more. But as we’ve mentioned again and again, if you want an accurate price quote for your scalp then you must attend a consultation appointment before scheduling for your procedure.
Why is the price quote determined over consult?
For Scalp Micropigmentation, there are a variety of factors that contribute to hair loss. We only have fixed prices for certain sections and areas on the scalp, and each client may require SMP in different numbers of treatments and in different areas due to their own needs, thus we cannot give one-price-for-all to each client.
Average Price
On average, we would say that most of our clients who decide to go ahead with the phi scalp micropigmentation procedure spend around $1,500 to $2,500 on two or more areas on their head for upto two treatments. We LOVE PROMOTIONS, so the more sections you require, the lower we will charge per area.
Things to talk about during your consultation appointment
To give your Scalp Practitioner a better idea of the look you are after, you can also show us pictures of what you desire your scalp to look like!
During your consultation appointment, we highly encourage you to prepare yourself for your consultation by reading about our SMP procedures and ask us all of your unanswered questions during the appointment.
After your Consultation Appointment
Once you’ve been fully informed and feel that you have all the information you need in order to book for your actual Scalp Micropigmentation procedure, then you can book with.
Is scalp micropigmentation possible for long hair?
The most common SMP treatment is for a shaved head, where the treatment mimics shaved hair follicles. However, scalp micropigmentation can also be used to add density to thin hair on the scalp for people with longer hair. ... The answer is yes, SMP can be very effective for hiding hair loss with longer hair.
Does SMP last forever?
Scalp Micropigmentation is a form of permanent cosmetics or permanent makeup. Often referred to as a cosmetic hair or scalp tattoo, this treatment typically lasts 4-6 years. ... This cosmetic solution will not wash off but can be tweaked as years go on.
Things you should do before SMP treatment:
#1: Understand Your Goals
What you want the end result to look like? Taking screenshots of before and after pictures of SMP treatments you like is a good way to prepare and set the right expectation for your practitioner. Your practitioner will help walk you through this on the day of your micro scalp treatment but if you have some of these goals outlined it will make it go smooth as gravy!
#2: Stop Using Rogaine, Toppik, and other Topical Products on the Scalp
You’ll want to cease using these products 48 hours before your treatment. This includes removing hair systems if you are wearing one. This will allow your scalp to become cleaner and clearer for your scalp pigmentation practitioner to work on.
#3: Cut Your Hair
If your scalp micro pigmentation plan requires you to keep your hair short then it’s not a bad idea to cut your hair short before coming in. This will get you acclimated with the new style and saves a bit of time on treatment day.
However, we understand you’ve maybe never cut your hair before or want to do it on the same day which is no problem. Our SMP practitioners are equipped to cut your hair in the office before your treatment day.
#4: Wash and Moisturize Scalp
Using non-irritating fragrance-free wash and moisturizer days if not weeks leading up to your treatment. Wash and moisturize your scalp at least once a day leading up to treatment. Remember your scalp is a canvas and the nicer the canvas the easier it is to create a work of art!
#5: EAT
This may sound silly but many clients come in without properly eating any food or hydrating before their session. The treatment takes anywhere from 1 – 3 hours and during that time you will be sitting and to make it easier on you it’s important to have something in your system.
Does Micro scalp pigmentation look real?
Scalp micropigmentation can look incredibly real when done correctly. Most clients tell us that their co-workers or family members say they look younger or ask if they got a new haircut but they won't be able to pinpoint the exact change.
Can you have a hair transplant after SMP?
Scalp Micropigmentation can also be performed before undergoing a hair transplant procedure. The SMP treatment would not affect your transplant process although we do recommend having your treatment with us at least 6 weeks before you have hair transplant surgery. Classic Eyelash Extension:
What are Powder Brows? Powder brows is a cosmetic semi permanent makeup technique designed to create eyebrows with soft powder effect, very similar to powder makeup. Powder effect is done with a shading technique using a permanent makeup device, which is similar to a tattoo gun.
